Our consortium met in Oslo on 5th-6th November 2025 for two productive days of discussions, updates, and planning across all work packages. It was great to have all the partners from Tempere University (TAU), Oslo University Hospital (OUS), University of Helsinki (UH), Karolinska Institutet (KI), INSERM, University of Tartu (UTARTU), VACTECH, empirica and others institution joined the meeting to review progress and strengthen collaboration.
Day one focused on project coordination and scientific progress across several work packages. Sessions covered updates on beta cell susceptibility, enterovirus infections mechanisms, immune responses in DIPP children, genetic determinants, vaccine studies, and antiviral strategies. The discussions helped align activities across teams and set priorities for the coming months. The day concluded with a dinner that offered a relaxed setting for continued collaboration.
Day two continued with presentation on immune responses following natural infections and vaccinations, prediction models, antiviral treatment analyses and publication planning. Partners reviewed ongoing tasks, upcoming deadlines, and the next steps for dissemination and exploitation activities.
