Role in the project
Apply comprehensive metagenomic sequencing to characterise all human-infectious viruses present in longitudinal clinical specimens prospectively collected from children at risk of developing type 1 diabetes, followed in the Finnish Diabetes Prediction And Prevention (DIPP) and the Australian Environmental Determinants of Islet Autoimmunity (ENDIA) birth cohorts.
